There’s a vast knowledge base out there on the web, and many friends from other food blogs share dozens of ideas every week.

Homemade Maple Muesli
When I got back from my trip to Minneapolis, I knew I had to make my own Muesli so I could have a quick and tasty breakfast ready to go.
I love that you can put a variety of ingredients to mix it up. Put in your favorite nuts, seeds, or fruit. Top it with fresh fruit. I always have bananas on hand so that’s what I use most of the time. But go wild with your fresh fruit.
It is easy to make and a great breakfast meal for the entire family.

It’s the perfect treat with my mid-morning coffee, or to give to the kids for an easy snack. It’s even delicious without that tangy lemon glaze if you want to make it a bit more appropriate for breakfast – and less dessert like. If that’s your thing.

Overnight Eggs Benedict Casserole
No poaching required here! This casserole is my solution to wanting to serve eggs benedict at brunch but not wanting to be standing over the stove poaching eggs.
Enjoy the goodness of eggs benedict with a silky baked custard over cubed english muffins with canadian bacon and a rich hollandaise sauce to finish!

This cake is a long-time family favorite. My mother made it for my siblings and me when we were young, and every time I pull it out of the oven, clichè as it sounds, I am reminded of summer mornings in my childhood kitchen.
It's simple, adaptable, and make aheadable
Green Superfood Smoothie Bowls
It’s Jan-u-ary! You know what that means. Out with the processed foods. Down with the carbs. And in with the fresh veggies, small portion sizes and whole everything. Exciting stuff.
I’m trying not to focus cutting things out and restricting myself. I want it to be more about finding a balance. A little bit of guilty pleasures with a lot of healthy foods that taste amazing. Like these fabulous green smoothie bowls.
Packed in that gorgeous green base are kale and spinach, but you’d never know it! They are so good, and when topped with fresh fruit – next level healthy and delicious. They are healthy food that I can get excited about.
Chia Seed Pudding Parfaits
Chia seeds are magical. When you put them in liquid, they swell and make a thick liquid, like a pudding. Even though there is no scientific evidence that they reduce your appetite or make you feel full, you’ll definitely find people who swear that they do!
Regardless, the tiny seeds are packed healthy omega-3 fatty acids, protein, fiber, antioxidants, and even calcium.
How to make Homemade Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt is special because it is strained to remove the whey. This makes it thicker and creamier.
You can add just about anything to your yogurt to suit your preferences. For me, a drizzle of honey with some almonds and berries is the perfect finish.
You could also try adding a few spoonfuls of your favorite jam.
How to make Chilaquiles Verdes
Chilaquiles are the bomb. Fried tortillas, simmered in salsa and topped with all things good – chiles, crema, cheese, and avocado. Om nom nom.
It’s comfort food, but with a bit of heat and so much flavor!
